S3Drive – Amazon S3 filesystem

S3Drive – Amazon S3 Filesystem. Given the complexity of changes I’d have needed to make to the BlogEngine.Net codebase if I wanted to store all my application data (files, settings, images etc) in a remote storage location accessible only via HTTP rather than a local filesystem accessible via normal file handling routines, this program offers the facade I was looking for to provide an excellent compromise. Now it’s just to test it to see how stable it is at handling the redirection of my “App_Data” folder to it.

  1. Hi,

Did you find S3Drive reliable and worked to store your assets for BlogEngine.net
We’re certainly keen to use BlogEngine.net more, but we need all uploaded files to be stored on S3.

    Thanks

  2. Bad news: S3 Drive is not available anymore.

Good news: there is similar program called TntDrive

TntDrive allows you to mount Amazon S3 Bucket as a regular or network windows drive.

  3. Keep it simple and don’t try to spread your investments in too many different areas. Trading too often can cost you fees or you may lose because you aren’t
there when the long term profits pay off. Day trading
is too risky, so always do your homework and invest in things that have stood the test of time and are reputable.

  4. I went on other webpages before where they have got members
discussion board at no cost. Is this something you could look at doing for your website as
well so that people who read your posting like this maybe able to dialogue on a community forum as well?
    It’s a wonderful way to develop a community! 🙂

  5. I drop a comment whenever I like a post on a site or if I have something to contribute to the discussion.

Usually it’s triggered by the fire communicated in the article I read.
And on this article S3Drive – Amazon S3 filesystem | Redditech ‘Ground Zero’ Blog.
I was excited enough to write a comment :
-) I do have a couple of questions for you if you tend not to mind.
Could it be just me or does it give the impression like some
of these remarks appear like left by brain dead folks? 😛 And, if you are posting
at additional sites, I’d like to follow anything new you have to post.
Would you make a list the complete urls of all your social sites like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or
    twitter feed?

  6. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you
wrote the book in it or something. I think
that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than
that, this is great blog. An excellent read. I’ll definitely be back.

  8. Hi there! This article couldn’t be written much better!
Going through this article reminds me of my previous roommate!
He constantly kept preaching about this. I
will forward this post to him. Fairly certain he will have
a very good read. Thanks for sharing!

  9. Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your article seem to
be running off the screen in Opera. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something
to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know.
The design and style look great though! Hope you get the problem
    fixed soon. Many thanks

  10. Along with the car sales, the Japanese used car
sellers also supply the dismantled parts of the vehicles in cube containers of size 20ft
or 40 ft. Be smart and savvy when negotiating the interest rate for new cars
and don’t just sign on the bottom line. The damage varies from vehicle to vehicle but can be as small as light hail
damage which is barely visible through to damage caused by falling
    trees.
